1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using OneSSL ("Service"), a service provided by NodecP, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
OneSSL is a free SSL/TLS certificate management platform that allows users to:
- Obtain free SSL/TLS certificates from Let's Encrypt
- Manage domain verification through DNS or file-based methods
- Store and manage certificates securely with encryption
- Generate Certificate Signing Requests (CSRs)
- Receive certificate expiration notifications and auto-renewal
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must:
- Create an account with a valid email address
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be at least 13 years of age
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Obtain certificates for domains you do not own or control
- Engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the certificate issuance system
- Use the Service to distribute malware or conduct phishing attacks
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Violate Let's Encrypt's Subscriber Agreement or policies
- Resell or redistribute certificates without authorization
5. Let's Encrypt Terms
By using OneSSL to obtain SSL/TLS certificates, you also agree to comply with:
Let's Encrypt certificates are subject to their rate limits and policies. We are not responsible for any limitations imposed by Let's Encrypt.
6. Domain Ownership Verification
You represent and warrant that you own or have authorization to manage any domain for which you request SSL certificates. The Service verifies domain ownership through DNS or HTTP-based challenges. Attempting to obtain certificates for domains you do not control is a violation of these Terms and may result in account termination and legal action.
7. Certificate Security
You are responsible for:
- Safeguarding your private keys and certificates
- Revoking certificates if private keys are compromised
- Properly installing and configuring certificates on your servers
- Renewing certificates before expiration
While we encrypt certificates at rest, you should download and securely store your certificates and private keys.
8. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NODECP AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NodecP, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
